3.0 Workflow Update User Guide

We are excited to share the workflow improvements we have made in version 3.0 of the Postano Platform.

UI Focus On Campaigns

In working with our clients we found that nearly all were using Postano products as part of a campaign in their overall marketing and social media strategy. We decided to adopt this theme and rename the Postanos section to Campaigns and Streams to Stream Library. We believe this simplifies the platform interface and makes it easier for our users to understand.

A Campaign is identical to what used to be called a Postano. You can have multiple campaigns and create multiple visualizations within a campaign like a social embed, event visualization, or Postano’s newest product, Hashtag Analytics.

 

How to Create a Campaign

The new Postano 3.0 has a slightly different workflow to create a campaign and visualization:

 To create a new campaign, click on the + icon next to CAMPAIGNS. The screen will prompt you to name the new campaign and the new associated visualization.

Next you choose either a web embed or display visualization. If you choose web embed, you will see the expected options for different web embed designs to choose from.

As with Display, you will then be given a window with different display options from which to choose.

From there you will see the familiar workflow of adding streams and finalizing your visualization.

 

Performance Dashboard

We have renamed the analytics for visualizations dashboard to the Performance dashboard. To see the Performance dashboard for your visualization, first click on your visualization in the navigation to make sure it is active and then click the Performance tab in the top right corner of your screen.

This will display the performance of your visualization, with no differences from the previous version named Analytics.

 

Improved User Account and Campaign Settings

In version 3.0 of the Postano Platform we’ve redesigned and improved the settings panel for User Accounts, Campaigns, and Visualizations.

 

User Account Settings

To view your user account, click on your name in either top left corner or bottom left corner of the screen. This will present you with your accounts settings panel that shows your current account details.

 

Campaign Settings

To see the settings panel for your campaign, first click on your campaign in the navigation to make sure it is active. Then click the settings tab with the gear icon in the top right corner of your screen.

In the campaign settings panel you can:

  • Rename your campaign
  • Add or delete brand accounts
  • Add or delete streams
  • Change publish settings
  • Turn on/off the profanity filter
  • Delete your campaign

 

Visualization Settings

To see the settings panel for your visualization, first click on your visualization in the navigation to make sure it is active. Then click the settings tab or gear icon in the top right corner of your screen.

In the visualization settings panel you can:

  • rename the visualization
  • add streams
  • activate or deactivate streams
  • change moderation settings for each stream

 

Responsive Design

The 3.0 Postano Platform was designed to be fully responsive, ensuring the platform provides an optimal viewing and interaction experience on any desktop, tablet, or mobile device. Users will be able to add streams, moderate content, and view analytics at any screen size.

For optimal viewing, press the burger icon to minimize the side navigation and go into full-screen mode to view streams, moderate content, or view the performance dashboard.
